The system is automatic and random, by which I mean that, in the same action carried out, being a dice roll, multiple situations can happen and it may all depend on the luck of the player, on how his token is constituted, on the actions in his game life and / or the characteristics of the opponent.
In the same situation, the same thing does not always happen, so the player must constantly try, test new situations and thus know how the system works, they must always try and practice, no matter how long they are in the game, no matter how long it takes , you will always discover new things and you will experience different situations and consequences.
The system is constantly developing and changing, do not trust yourself, here nobody really knows anything, because what you think it is today, tomorrow is not, or if ..., or is what you think ... ... who knows. ...
What differentiates this game system from others, in my view, are the following points:
Within the game there are so-called "Cults", groups, not to call them families, of players with the different types of characters that exist in the system; A cult only gives you, in my view, a name for a community, an identity, security on your terrain and a daily XP benefit depending on the rank you occupy within it.
But really what is valued or what really counts is the individual game of each player, due to your merits, conclusions, knowledge and skill in the system.
The reality or the truth is that, I think this is designed to make a group game, share within the cult, that each one has different profiles, characters, skills, knowledge of their game and record.
THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, for those who do not know it yet, this system has its base within the role-playing games of WoD or Mundo de Tinieblas in Spanish.
A good base would be to know this type of books and their content, to know who they are, how they work, what abilities, powers, characteristics, virtues and weaknesses, contain the different characters that exist here, but "I repeat" is only a base, currently the game is as they say in the system FAQ:
"LACRIMAE is an adaptation for Second Life slightly inspired by tabletop role-playing games of the WoD line, but also by fantasy literature, mythology, science fiction and common sense (of the latter rather little)" ---> totally true this last ^^.
I advise looking at the 3 main books, "Vampire, the masquerade", "Werewolf, Apocalypse" and "Wizard, the ascension".
Knowing yourself as a character is FUNDAMENTAL, and of course having knowledge of the other races of the same character and the different types of beings that exist within the game, to know what you can do to them, what they can do to you and how they respond in different situations and abilities own of each.
